    Day 13: Summary

The first half of Day 13 will conclude the training portion of the EMT Boot Camp with Advanced Life Support Assist classes..

The second half of Day 13 is reserved for the first part of the psychomotor skills examination.

After Day 13, you will have reviewed all the necessary knowledge and skills to pass the NRMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) exam and become a certified EMT. Of course, you will still need to study and review the material.

The NRMT exam combines two tests—a cognitive (written) test and a psychomotor (physical/skills) test. After successfully passing the psychomotor test and graduating from the program, you will need to schedule your cognitive test at a Pearson VUE testing center.

Day 13 requires 9.5 hours of participation from start to finish, including a 30-minute break for lunch. The coursework and training are accelerated. You will be expected to process and retain a lot of information in a relatively short time.

The Unitek 14-day EMT Boot Camp is not easy, but it is worth it! Our dedicated graduates are among the best-trained and most effective EMTs in the world today. Click here to learn more about our two-week EMT Boot Camp.
