Yes. In fact, you will be Nationally Certified with the NREMT (National Registry of EMT’s). So, you can work anywhere in the U.S. You simply need to apply for reciprocity in your state, through your local Department of Health Services.
The fastest way to register for EMT basic training is by speaking with one of our educational advisors. Participants are encouraged to register as early as possible because spaces do fill up quickly for many of the courses. If you require a visa, you should also register early in order to begin that process. Registration for all EMT courses is granted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
No, EMT basic training participants are responsible for their own hotel accommodations and travel arrangements to and from the course location.
If you’re making travel arrangements to attend our EMT program, we recommend that you arrive in town the day before the course. This will allow you to check in to your hotel and be on time for your first session on the morning of the following day. This first session will typically begin at 8:00 AM.
The location of your training venue will be sent to you as part of the Admission Package once you are accepted to the program. Upon arrival to the campus, please check in at the main entrance in the lobby of the EMT training facility.
Yes. Some of the most useful and practical capacity-building experiences take place when two or more professionals from the same organization attend our EMT training course together.
